Family roots,
land that works
Land Management Resources is a family-owned and operated land management company serving Central Iowa. Our family has run small businesses in Iowa since 1927, and that history of hard work and community service shapes everything we do today. We are proud to carry that legacy forward for landowners, farmers, and property managers across the Des Moines metro and surrounding counties.
We started with a few small pieces of equipment to care for our own family acreage. As word spread and neighbors asked for help, we grew our fleet and our capabilities. Today we handle projects of all sizes, from routine rough mowing on large fields to full-scale land clearing, forestry mulching, and site restoration.
What sets us apart is the equipment we bring to the job. We run a modern fleet built for tough terrain, steep slopes, overgrown brush, and hard-to-reach areas. A project that might take you weeks by hand, we can often complete in a day or two. We are also acreage owners ourselves, so we know firsthand what it takes to keep land productive, safe, and looking its best.
Our services cover a wide range of land management needs. We offer forestry mulching, pondbank mowing, vegetation management, stump grinding, tree removal, debris and junk removal, storm cleanup, small structure demolition, and site restoration. If your property has grown out of control or suffered storm damage, we have the tools and the experience to bring it back.
We serve communities throughout Central Iowa, including Des Moines, Ankeny, Waukee, West Des Moines, Urbandale, Johnston, Clive, Grimes, Adel, Norwalk, Indianola, Altoona, Bondurant, Ames, and the surrounding areas across Polk, Dallas, Story, Jasper, Madison, and Warren counties.
Every project starts with a walk-through or consultation so we fully understand your goals before any work begins. We treat your land the way we treat our own, and we aim to leave every property better than we found it. Our owners bring a combined 50-plus years of experience in agriculture and equipment, and that knowledge shows in the finished product.
Ready to get your property where you want it? Call us at (515) 901-7531 or email info@landmanagementresources.com to schedule your consultation. We are available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
